Misael Oronia, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Misael Oronia earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University before pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where he graduated in 2024. His academic journey reflects his strong foundation in human movement science and his commitment to advancing his knowledge in rehabilitation and performance-based care.
Dr. Oronia’s passion for physical therapy stems from his lifelong interest in medicine and sports. Growing up active and involved in athletics, he developed a deep appreciation for the body’s ability to heal, adapt, and perform. He has also coached high school soccer and track, further strengthening his connection to young athletes and their development. This passion led him to pursue a career where he could combine science, movement, and patient care. He particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages, with a special interest in helping high school and collegiate athletes return to their sport stronger and more confident.
Originally from a small town in southern New Mexico, Dr. Oronia values hard work, community, and staying active. He married his high school sweetheart while in college, and together they have a fur baby named Milo. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys skiing, spending time in the mountains, paddleboarding, hiking, attending the occasional car show, off-roading, and weightlifting. His active lifestyle not only fuels his passion for physical therapy but also allows him to better connect with the patients he serves.
