Fretche Blair

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Fretche is a proud Filipino immigrant who earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Southwestern University in Cebu, Philippines, in 1999. She began her journey as a Physical Therapist in the United States in 2003. Her passion for learning and commitment to excellence led her to pursue and complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in July 2023.


Dedicated to empowering older adults to achieve a higher quality of life, Fretche is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults and a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (2019–2025). She specializes in working with neurological populations, particularly individuals with Parkinson’s disease, and is both an LSVT BIG Clinician and a PWR! Moves Certified Clinician.

 

Beyond clinical practice, Fretche is deeply committed to advocacy and service. She currently serves as a Board Trustee for the FUTURE Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the Filipino PT profession globally. In recognition of her leadership, she was selected as one of the 2025 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Leadership Scholars.


Outside of her professional and family life, Fretche is an avid hiker who also loves traveling, exploring new foods, reading, and spending time with her dogs.
