Brian Altman, MD

After years of professional collaboration, Dr. Altman was thrilled to join Integral Physical Therapy as the Medical Director in 2023. Originally from Overland Park, KS, Dr. Altman graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas. Afterwards, Dr. Altman was honored to obtain his medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel. He completed his Intern year at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn and fellowship in Sports and Spine Medicine at Spine West in Boulder, CO. Since that time, Dr. Altman has been honing his skills at both Spine West and the Lutheran Spine Center.
 

Dr. Altman specializes in highly conservative management of orthopedic and neurosurgical conditions. He believes physical therapy and lifestyle modification is the best way to control pain long term and prevent surgeries. He also believes in the power of Food as Medicine to treat pain and other chronic conditions. Dr. Altman's skills include ultrasound guided injections,
ultrasound diagnostic evaluations, hands-on diagnostic evaluations and regenerative medicine options.

Dr. Altman is double board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Altman enjoys hiking, skiing, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with friends, family and his dog, Malka.
