Athletic Trainer

Dr. Thomas Sehon left his hometown of Littleton Colorado to start his professional journey at the University of Northern Colorado. After seeing the transformative power of exercise as medicine, Tom completed two  Baccalaureate degrees, one in Sport and Exercise Science, and another in Athletic Training, becoming a board certified Athletic Trainer. Tom completed his Sport and Exercise Science internship as a Clinical Cancer Exercise Specialist at the University of Northern Colorado Cancer Rehabilitation Institute. During his time at UNC, He was able to see the wide spectrum of populations that rehabilitative exercise can help, and the strength and tenacity of the human spirit.

Following his undergraduate education, Tom began his Doctoral Physical Therapy program at Regis University. During this time he took advanced coursework in manual therapy, and trigger point dry needling, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Sehon has been accepted into the Regis University Orthopaedic Residency beginning in 2022 as he prepares to attain his orthopedic specialty certification.

Tom has a deep fascination with the synergy of orthopedics with all other aspects of health. His true passion however isn’t anatomical. It lies in helping guide patients with the tools they need to independently care for their body in order to become the strongest version of themselves achieving all of their goals.

Outside of the clinic, Thomas enjoys playing the saxophone, spending time outdoors, and playing with his dog Storm.
