Physical Therapist Assistant

Susie was inspired to enter the profession of physical therapy after volunteering at a school for children with special needs while in high school. during high school and watching therapist’s work with children. She graduated from Kent State University in 2006 and moved to Michigan to begin work in pediatric physical therapy. She later shifted her focus to orthopedic physical therapy with adults and continued her education with a number of courses focusing on management of orthopedic conditions and manual therapy. Susie believes that effective physical therapy involves a combination of manual therapy, patient education and exercise prescription to maximize long term outcomes. After living in several different states, Susie, her husband and dog (Squatchy) settled on Colorado in 2017. Her love of skiing, camping, hiking, yoga and sunshine drew her to this beautiful state and she plans to stay here long-term
